I'd like to get to know new members as they join so why don't we introduce ourselves to every one.....I'll go first.

I live in Spokane, WA. ?I'm a graduate of Eastern Washington University, studying Business and Music. ?I teach Percussion at Mead High School in north Spokane (undefeated for 2 years). ?My day job....well, I work for AFLAC....yup, the one with the duck. ?I sell insurnace and help people protect their stuff if they get hurt or sick. ?By day, insurance salesman.....by night, I make drums. ?I own Stonehenge Custom Percussion. ?Check out my website if you want to learn more about my drums. ?I really enjoy it! ?I'm 25 and getting married in November.....I found the perfect girl and she said yes....what more can I say. ?If you have any questions for me or about me I am always up for a chat so don't hesitate. ?

Ok I'll give this a shot.

I'm Carly, I'm 25 and from Waterford, NY. I think I am the only female on the board so far. I haven't finished school yet but consider myself an accomplished slacker. I do have a year of semi pro hockey under my belt . I played in Switzerland in the 2001-2002 season.

I played drums in junior high and then quit when I got to high school. Last year I got the drum bug again and then I found drumrap which brought me here. So you are all responsible for my obsession with building my own drums :P

It's Vaughn, the ghostnote webmaster I guess you could say. Details below --

I'm 38 this month, been married a while, have 5 kids from ages 15 down to 20 months (as of 9.02.2003). Played drums for a little while in high school but sucked at it pretty much. I played kits from time to time but never had my own. A couple years back I bought one and decided the wrap on it needed to come off. It looked hideous so I refinished my guitar to practice for my drums. I refinished the drums and got the bug. I bought some Keller shells and away I went. I researched, studied and built by trial and error. Snare beds, edges, finishes, etc. and I finally found what works. Then I got into stave shells. Man, those things are incredible. I even had Matt (Stonehenge) put some wood lugs on a walnut stave shell. Amazing results! I play all the time, jam with friends and love making killer sounding drums.

Other good details...born in Portland, OR in 1965, lived in Vancouver (Washington that is), Seattle and now I'm in Utah. I'm a network administrator here in Salt Lake City and love my job and my company, and I do have AFLAC, Matt ;D. It's great, check into it everyone!

I met E-Dog Cole, Shagwall, Eric, PooHolio, or whatever you want to call him, online at drumrap and emailed him about his wood burning. After that we just kind of hit it off and went on an idea spree and came up with the idea for ghostnote. Now here we are sharing the love!

That Vaughn knows how to make a guy feel good, with the poo. I ve been obsessed with drums for the last few years. After I got my DW set I started to realize even though they are awesome drums , that the difference in paying that price and building my own set was not a big enough sound difference to throw this kind of money out the window again. Last December I started looking into wood burning on a Keller shell from Adonis. I got one of those damn grandma craft store one's and started testing. After posting some initial tests on some forums and getting some great feedback I looked into a more professional tool and found one. ?Now Iam starting to focus on the concept kit ( at relichsells.com ) and hope to have that done by the time I am 87 years old to hopefully prove the whole wood burning concept ( I can't spell worth a crap). My day job is a 3D computer artist working at Cyan Worlds on there next title due out in Nov entitled URU the ages beyond Myst. ?Like Vaughn said we hooked up online and started the Poo games and can't stop. Currently the record is 2 minutes from desk to bowl and back. ?I think Vaughn is determined to take me down though but a new pair of Nike's might be needed along with some easy flow shorts or something. ?Also one more thing, as I first started this wood burning thing I found out there is this guy here in town doing some intresting thing making an all wood kit ( MATT ). He also inspired me to combine my visual sense with his sound design sense based on his all wood kit idea's. The concept kit will be a combination Relic Shell, Stonehenge Custom Percussion kit. After re-reading this I realize its very terrible , but I don't want to retype thus I shall live in obscurity here on Ghostnote.

Well isn't this all warm n' fuzzy? OK, Here 'goes:

Full name is Patrick Sullivan, Born in New Hampshire, now reside in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. 24 years old, just got married 6 months ago.

Was a bass player for about 10 years up until last March when I had a freak accident (don?t ask) which left me with a broken arm, severed artery, severed nerve, and a sorta-paralyzed hand. ?After a few surgeries I bought a set of DWs, and started taking drum lessons. So I?m sorta new as a player. ?As a wedding present the wife got me a set of Yamaha Beech Customs, she kicks a$$.

I am an avid sport shooter, trained marksman, and before I got into drum building, I would build and customize guns. ?Yeah, I?m conservative, I love our country, and the freedoms we have.

Oh, about my icon, you didn?t think I was serious, did you?! Nah, Glocks aren?t that good. I prefer a good ol? American made .45 caliber 1911. ?I just find the whole "Gangsta/Pimp" thing kinda funny. Ya know, you can't hit anything when ya hold it like that.

Finished high school early to go to college, got my degree in audio engineering (lot o' good that did me!).

I do advertising/graphic design, attempting to get my company's website done, and sorta the net admin there (but vaughn, don't ask me any questions cuz I'm dum).

Hello everyone I am the Scribes father! Thats right I'm responsible for this imaginative and creative and talented and artistic human. His mom and I are very proud of our son and what he has accomplished so far in his life. It seems ths Scribe knows no boundaries. Those who know me know that I'm pretty conservative too. All Are welcome here....Conservative, Liberal...everyone. I even got to meet GW during the primaries. I was priveliged to be able to introduce him to the crowd at a rally then hang with him for a while. The Scribe made me promice that there would be no political debates here...it got kind of outa hand on another forum I guess. Talk with you more later...welcome aboard!
