That was very cool of you to do that for everyone curious about Saludas. I think you all know that Saluda isn't my preference of cymbals, but I will admit that they're improving over time. Those Voodoo Bells sound pretty cool too.

Ditto on the bells. I love that sound. I have some paiste cup chimes, but those saludas sound like you can 'overdrive' them a little and get that cool flanging tone.

I really like the "crisp" sounds of the crashes - it's something I really look for in cymbals (and the primary reason I have always played Paiste). However, I may, very well, be persuaded to try oout some Saudas in 2005. : )

These will definately help get the good word out about saluda...
two quick questions... What thickness were the 14" hats and is the heavy dry ride crashable? |

Very impressive. I think the sounds files are very true to what those Saluda's sound like in person. Now I want that SSXD ride even more!! Ghost: I have both the 14" rock hats and the 20" heavy dry ride. the hats have a medium top and a medium heavy bottom. The ride does not crash very good IMO
